“The Sanctity of Life Is Fundamental And Universal, And I Am Fully Committed To Protecting It In The Senate…”

WASHINGTON, D.C. –U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) released the following statement regarding the March for Life today in our nation’s capital:

“It is great to see so many Ohioans in the nation’s capital, braving the cold to support our shared belief in the right to life.  The sanctity of life is fundamental and universal, and I am fully committed to protecting it in the Senate.  Thank you to the thousands involved today with the March for Life, and to the thousands more who work tirelessly all year long to protect the unborn,” said Portman.

Today marks the 38th annual March for Life and directly corresponds with the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade.  The March for Life has steadily grown over its 38 years of existence which speaks volumes to those dedicated to pro-life movement.
