Unfortunately many Democrats have taken to criticism rather than support for John Kasich and his new book about his journey of faith called "Every Other Monday." Despite this criticism, many, including us at Ohio Right to Life, continue to support Kasich as he works hard to share about his faith with the rest of the country. In the Dispatch article Mike Gonidakis, Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life said: “We’re surprised that an ordained minister is criticizing someone for sharing their faith in the moving way that John Kasich has," Gonidakis said in a statement. "He should be praising John Kasich for having the courage to bear witness, not slamming him for it. We look forward to reading Ted Strickland’s memoir on his faith journey.” To read the full article, visit: http://blog.dispatch.com/dailybriefing/2010/06/democrats_blast_kasichs_book_t.shtml ![]() Ohio Right to Life is pleased to share this special letter from John Kasich about his latest book, Every Other Monday. This past weekend the Toledo Blade ran an article on the recent animal-human hybrid legislation that passed in the Senate. Mike Gonidakis, Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life, shared some thoughts on the bill: "You'd think this is science fiction, but it's not," said Mike Gonidakis, Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life. How much longer would it be before it happens in Ohio? What happens if we transfer a disease that is only carried through animals so that it transfers from human to human. From a moral perspective, what are we thinking?" he said. To read the entire article, click HERE. What do you think of this bill? Do you know someone who is dealing with the trauma of an abortion? Consider telling them about the Abortions Recovery Care Directory. Coordinated by Abortion Recovery InterNational, this website provides information on the effects that abortion can have on women, men, friends and family as well as useful resources that can help those affected begin the path towards healing. In addition to loving and honest resources, this website also links to a CARE directory that can help women find a local center for counseling and direct support. To learn more about this compassionate resource, visit www.abortionrecovery.org. As we conclude this week of commemorating those United States Soldiers who died while in service to our country, let us also pause and reflect on the Amazing Grace freely given to us by God through the death of His Son.
