  • More than 70 percent of Americans—both pro-life and pro-abortion—agree that our tax dollars should not be used to subsidize the abortion industry, particularly the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
  • As Congress continues to negotiate the Fiscal Year 2011 budget and to make further cuts to government spending, a priority must be to zero out permanently taxpayer funding of the nation’s largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood and its affiliates.
  • Particularly in this time of economic uncertainty, the Government ought to spend its time and our money funding things that matter to the American people.  We should not be compelled to watch our tax dollars spent on abortion and funding corrupt organizations like Planned Parenthood, which consistently demonstrates a blatant disregard for women’s health and the law.
  • I urge you to stand with the majority of Americans and ensure that we are no longer forced to fund the nation’s largest abortion provider with our tax dollars.

Blood Money: Coming to Columbus in August!

We are excited to announce that Greater Columbus Right to Life is hosting the documentary BloodMoney: The Business of Abortion for a limited showing in Columbus. Currently, Columbus is the only city in Ohio where this powerful documentary is scheduled to be shown.

The movie will be screened at the Arena Grand Movie Theater Mon-Wed, Aug 2-4, at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $8.00.

Paula Brooks' Fiscal Reputation?

Did you know that six abortion-providing or promoting organizations received more than $1 billion in federal funding between FY 2002-2009? Most of this funding went to Planned Parenthood, who performed more than 305,310 abortions in 2007, alone! In addition, Planned Parenthood hasn't even received nearly as much in funding from donations as it has from government grants and contracts (2008).

Paula Brooks, Franklin County Commissioner claims to have a "reputation for strong fiscal prudence," however in 2009 she voted to give even more of our tax dollars to Planned Parenthood. Meanwhile folks in Ohio have been struggling to make ends-meet.
